Society of St Vincent de Paul provides several Adult and Older People Services across the country in Dublin, Kildare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Donegal.
Our volunteer conferences oversee and, in some cases, deliver the support and assistance provided by the services.
SVP services aim to provide practical, emotional, and social support to adults, older adults and the elderly, to increase their skills, their coping skills, their mental health and their physical wellbeing.
However, the most important function is the social aspect, as many of our members live alone and the support and friendship that they receive from SVP means so much to them.
They enhance physical health trough daily exercise, games and a healthy home cooked meal and they support general wellbeing through the many fun programmes on offer each day.
Assisted living for olde people who want to keep their independence yet be supported in a safe and secure environment. Encouraging residents to stay healthy, active and independent.

Our dedicated volunteers and staff deliver over 1,500 meals a week throughout the country. Having these services helps many older people to continue living at home in their communities.
Drop-in support services for the Homeless offering self-care, food, psychological, social, general, and mental health supports. Our goal is to prevent the progression to homelessness by those in accommodation but vulnerable to homelessness. We create links between service users and other service providers best placed to help.
The Seafarers club is located in Dublin port and provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere to the seafarers docked at the port. The volunteers in the club provide local information and support to those availing of the service.
