SVP is dedicated to safeguarding children and vulnerable persons. To uphold this commitment, we fully vet all volunteers and employees involved in relevant work before they start, in accordance with the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012-2016.
This vetting process checks for criminal records and any specified reasons that may indicate a risk of harm to children or vulnerable adults.
Following SVP policy, we re-vet volunteers and employees every three years to keep their records current and align with best practices.
