I would like to welcome you to the Society’s new website. We hope you find the site fresh, informative and easy to use. The demands for our services have been increasing year-on- year. As well as carrying news and information about our work, this new website will convey the voice of the Society of St.Vincent de Paul on issues of social justice to a nation divided by inequality where many families and individuals have suffered heavily from the impact of years of austerity.
The Society of St.Vincent de Paul will continue to help those in need, to represent the views of the deprived and to seek equality for all, which is the entitlement of every citizen.
This new website provides an additional method of contacting the Society directly. We realise that people may find it difficult to ask for help. If you need help, please contact us, via this website or through SVP offices and local Conferences in parishes throughout the country.
Information about our many services is provided on the site as well as news, comment, opinion, details of SVP activities national and local and you can also contribute financially on this site to support the work of the Society, which is Ireland’s largest voluntary charitable organisation. This website will provide an interactive platform to highlight issues of social exclusion and poverty and a place where you can support the Society of St.Vincent de Paul in Ireland.
