At SVP, we provide various opportunities through the CE and Tus Scheme.
Community Employment (CE) Scheme: This program supports long-term unemployed individuals or those facing other disadvantages by providing part-time and temporary job placements in local communities. This initiative helps participants reintegrate into the workforce.
Tús Initiative: This scheme delivers short-term community work placements to unemployed individuals. Community and voluntary organizations in both urban and rural areas provide these opportunities, which aim to enrich the community.
How to Apply: If you're interested in either of these schemes, please reach out to your local INTREO or Social Welfare Branch Office. The respective Intreo Centre or Social Welfare Branch Office will contact selected applicants after they apply.
Note: Directly make self-referrals to your Intreo Centre or Social Welfare Branch Office, not through SVP.
Additional Information: You can access detailed information about the Tús initiative in the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection’s Operational Guidelines and in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
