At SVP, we commit to using all money donations responsibly:

Regarding monetary donations, we commit to the following:

  • We strive to limit our administration and fundraising costs to 10% of our expenditure, maximising the funds available to support those in need.
  • The National Management Council (Board) of St Vincent de Paul consists of volunteers who receive no payment from the Society. We are thankful for the skilled and talented individuals who offer their services voluntarily.
  • Donations received locally are used locally. We ensure that your contributions directly assist people in need within your community.

Home visitation and practical relief form the core work of the Society, but we also offer many other essential services across the country, including:

  • Social housing projects
  • Resource centers
  • Holiday breaks
  • Older People’s Daycare centers
  • Education grants
