SVP provides immediate help to people in need, but also tackles the root causes of the problems that we see.

Concern is turned into action by advocating for more socially just policy. Ending poverty in Ireland is our overall aim.

We influence policy makers and public opinion using extensive research and analysis. Direct feedback from our volunteers who work with people experiencing poverty across the island of Ireland informs our social justice priorities.
In 2023, over 250,000 people turned to SVP for help. Help us to make poverty a priority on a local, national and European level.
